[Sorted] Tapatalk plugin update

Postby azzola » Mon Jul 30, 2012 6:04 pm

Hi,
Just want to ask/notice/suggest the forum admin to update the tapatalk plugin... Because the Old version installed cause many problems to the actual client and i think there is a huge number of members using it.

Thanks in advance

Reporting sound posts is NOT the way to get a positive response, it's a waste of time.
Not to worry, this will be updated in the next couple of weeks, I can't give you a specific date, but it's going to get done relatively soon.

Your IT can replace the single folder structure holding Tapatalk (covering the legacy. non-push installation) in a few minutes. Updating Tapatlak on my forums takes me less than getting and drinking an Espresso - opening the ssh session, doing the wget, untar/unzip, trigger a reload of the web server, test included.

Admin, I was bad. I've tried to convince your IT handling it. Yes, Lars - different culture over there, I know. But like that ... QNAP won't make the race.

 "next couple of weeks" ... there is virtually no downtime or maintenance window required ... or should ITIL became a working standard in Asia recently?

Couple of weeks to unpack a ZIP? Wow...
QNAP, why is your homework still not done?
3.8.2 Build0301 - Codename "Titanic" - Dear customer, GTFO! NOT acceptable once again!
QTS 4.0 - Codename "Leaky Snail" - Slower than ever. Yes, we can!
QNAP's new logo competition

You know, people have more things to do here than server you guys on a whim. Yes, it might be a five minute upgrade, but this isn't some personal forum and there are ways things are done in a company, for better or worse. It will happen, but you guys are going to have to be a bit patient, as it takes time to get the ball rolling and I'm new here. At least I've been promised that it will be upgraded, but clearly that's not good enough?
