Please add Y-Cam Network Camera

Postby awilson » Mon Oct 20, 2008 5:50 am

Please add support for the Y-Cam camera range from y-cam.com so I can use my TS-209 for surveillance.

Thanks

Y-CAM white and black will be supported on TS-xx9 series NAS. The schedule should be on the february or March firmware release.

just looked on the supported camera hardware page and the y-cam is listed. Can you confirm it works with the lastest firmware as they are a lot of reports if fails on a TS109.

My Y-Cam Knight is connected to the TS-209 with firmware version: 3.1.0 Build 0708T. Although the camera has been recognised and Live View works, recording is not working. At the home page of the surveillance station the camera is connected (status) for a short period after I restarted the TS-209. But after a while the status indicates nothing any more.
The camera itself is in 24/7 alarm mode and motion detection is on.
Why is the QNAP not recording? Ports are open.
