Transmission settings not found

Postby gmqnap » Fri May 22, 2009 10:02 pm

Even if a little bit counterintuitive i have finally make transmission running fine... ;-)

Except a little bit problem, i can't access to web page,
---------------------------------------
403: Forbidden

Unauthorized IP Address.

Either disable the IP address whitelist or add your address to it.

If you're editing settings.json, see the 'rpc-whitelist' and 'rpc-whitelist-enabled' entries.

If you're still using ACLs, use a whitelist instead. See the transmission-daemon manpage for details.
---------------------------------------

I searched for settings.json but doesn't exist at all!
Where is it placed? Thanks in advance,

In case you did not solve this yet, look in the config folder set when you ran transmission-daemon.

My autorun.sh includes the line:

Code: Select all
/share/HDA_DATA/.qpkg/Optware/bin/transmission-daemon -b -g /share/HDA_DATA/Qdownload/config/ -w /share/HDA_DATA/Qdownload/ > /share/HDA_DATA/Qdownload/debug_tm.txt

Looking in /share/HDA_DATA/Qdownload/config/ you should find settings.json.

Hope this helps!
