Magnet links support

Postby serge » Thu Nov 19, 2009 3:58 pm

Hello QNAP,

I was wondering if magnet links are going to be supported by Download Station and QGet? I'm sure a lot of QNAP customers would want this feature now even more since TPB is being shut down.

Thx, Serge.

Yes, I agree, this is a must have feature now when TBP only supports magnet links, seems to be a trend....

AFAIK the Qnap boxes use rtorrent, and the rtorrent devs are beavering away at adding magnet support right now. Hopefully as soon as they release something stable we'll get a firmware update that sorts this out for us.
