Did you send them the URL? How? You can always PM me the location and I'll forward it to the correct persons
petur wrote:Don't exaggerate too much. It is a problem for people who download HD content from the internet.
At home, my NMP-1000 plays my files fine, these include HD content I create myself (mts) and DVD rips of my own discs.
I don't say there's no problem, but to state that it is a MAJOR MAJOR issue for many customers is a bit over the top....

petur wrote:I'm sorry, but my MTS/M2TS files (full HD) play just fine... You probably aren't aware of this huge mess called codecs and containers. There's so much more behind the file extension. Let's be constructive and get things sorted, calling QNAP names certainly helps nobody forward. Are those files ripped from your own disks? What software did you use? It might help QNAP to reproduce...

petur wrote:What I meant is that the post was very black/white. Most file formats and codecs play just fine, there seems to be some that don't. To call the specifications a lie and the NMP-1000 a dust catcher is just not true.
So please be constructive. The more input QNAP gets (sample files, codec details,...) the sooner they can fix the issue. Shouting rarely helps anybody.
