I have the same problem now tih my TS-209 II Pro. Last thing I did was backup to USB drive and eject the drive when it was finished. Then rtorrent has been running (seeding not downloading).
The default webpage is accessible but the admin pages resulted with the error.
I rebooted the device by using the button on the front and now I don't even get the message

Code: Select all

There was an unusual problem serving the requested URL '/indexnas.cgi?counter=1243672753'.
but a blank screen. I cannot access by using ssh or telnet either...

What to do?

Thanks,
Erwin

Hmm, really weird thing. I used QNAPfinder from my local Windows PC and started from there the webpage and now it just opened...
I guess the problem of not getting in has been solved. But I don't like what just happened a few minutes before....

This morning it happened again:
There was an unusual problem serving the requested URL '/cgi-bin/sysinfo.cgi?counter=1162833710'.
I had to use QNAP Finder to reboot the box....

did you try to use a newer firmware, and see if the problem still occurs. firmware v1.1.1 is very old.

The version you're referring to is of tcbycyt, the orginal poster of this thread.
I'm using firmware version 2.1.4 Build 0318T on a TS-209 II Pro.

I'm having the same problem and why QNAP people not giving/explaining the proper solution for this weird happening to differe NAS devices??? my is TS109 II and besides, I have posted the problem in here http://forum.qnap.com/viewtopic.php?f=182&t=25997 but no any of QNAP people try to fix this problem. I feel so disappointed on this brand's after sale service indeed.

I see a same problem with TS-409:

Code: Select all

http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/indexnas.cgi?counter=1294430406
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /indexnas.cgi on this server.
Apache/1.3.41 Server at 192.168.15.71 Port 80

But direct typing of

Code: Select all

http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/index.html
works.
