Hi hans123,
The RAMDisk is full.
Please check your private message and our engineer would like to connect to your NAS and check it.

I also have the same type of error occuring. The following functionality breaks:
- WEBDAV.
- shares go missing, but not to the point that they aren't accessible via SMB.
- Email notification settings disappear. Which means I had no idea that it had stopped working as it should.
- replication stops from this NAS to other backup.

This just happened to me also:

23:05:08System127.0.0.1localhostThe system is unable to save your settings (file = [/etc/config/uLinux.conf], section = [DHCP Server], field = [End Range], value = [0.0.0.0]) due to insufficient ramdisk space. If restarting the server does not solve the problem please contact support for further assistance.

I restarted the system and it now shows drive 3 is missing. It's a new ts-859 pro, 4 weeks old.

This unit also showed a drive missing (drive 2) the day following setup. I pulled it out and popped it back, it rebuilt the raid 5 array and all seemed fine. I think there is another issue here?

Current firmware version: 3.2.7 Build 0526T

Can someone help me? Thanks

I have the same problem on brand new TS-419P. Had it for 2 days, and it has already done it twice. Has anyone solved the problem.

My log is spammed with errors like this one:

The system is unable to save your settings (file = [/etc/config/smb.conf], section = [global], field = [display charset], value = [UTF8]) due to insufficient ramdisk space. If restarting the server does not solve the problem please contact support for further assistance.

I am on firmware 3.2.7 Build 0526T. Would a downgrade solve the problem ???

Regards

Same issue here with firmware 3.3.0 Build 629 on my TS-439 Pro...
I also got issues with AFP access if that happens and also system parameters like SMART or HD/RAID information data are not available anymore...

Any tip ?

Cheers

Hi,

I'm running a TS-459 Pro and it's still happening for me running 3.3.0. Happens after a few hours of rebooting when just watching a movie via PS3 Media Stream.

Hello Community

The Support of QNap proposed to wait for 3.3.2 - it seems that 3.3.0 has some issues.
Im now downgraded back to 3.2.7 and didn't get the Errors anymore.
I'll wait until 3.3.2 is out and stay with the current Firmware I've installed.

Cheers

Hi, same issue here, running on a TS-439 Pro II, the web service wasn't working, and i wasn't able to access the web file manager. i had this message:
The system is unable to save your settings (file = [/etc/config/php.ini], section = [Imagick], field = [extension]) due to insufficient ramdisk space. If restarting the server does not solve the problem please contact support for further assistance.
i'm running on the last firmware update (3.3.6).. well after a reboot of the qnap everything worked, but this problem happened many times... have you find why it does that?
