upgrade ram in TS-239 pro

Hey Guys,


Read somewhere that you could upgrade the ram by yourself :)

BUT, how do i open this ** thing ??

I have taken the screws out, but can't seem to get the "case" of ???

Any of you there know a guide somewhere ?

Google did'nt help :(

Now my cases is bented' and can't seem to get it straighten out again :(

Sorry for coming late...

Slide it to the back - apply pressure only at the lower end of the two sides. The cover does not bend then.

Okii tryed it, couldn't seem to get it up..


Maybe because i try to open the site, and then it's stuck now :(

But well ** it, considering buying a new one..


If i Try again, Will i get some speed if I upgrade to 2 gb ram ??

And in which way will my nas be better ?

RAM is useful to run more or processes requiring more virtual memory. Anything left can and will be used for caching,

Hi

Bit late to the thread, but thought I'd post here before I start a new one - schumaku, can you give me a bit more guidance on removing the case? There seems to be a spot weld or something that I can't separate under where the warranty sticker is that means I can't separate the case from the HDD enclosure. I've given up for now, but would welcome any help you can give me before I trash teh case completely!
