Hi:

I opened a new topic with this issue just in case it wasn't due to pyload. But, in the end, I discovered that system reboots after manual killing the pyload jobs.

Code: Select all
[~] # ps | grep python
 4417 admin     12912 S   /opt/bin/python /opt/pyload/pyLoadCore.py
 5975 admin       556 S   grep python
[~] # kill -9 4417
[~] # ps | grep python
 6106 admin     12992 S   /opt/bin/python /opt/pyload/pyLoadCore.py
 6361 admin       564 S   grep python
[~] # kill -9 6106
[~] # ps | grep python
 7304 admin       564 S   grep python
[~] #

As I'm a linux newbie, I don't know why these tasks prevent the shut down nor the solution.

Nobody had this problem?

Hi:

Pyload works nice. Two issues, though:

1.- Can't access to Pyload webpage by HTTPS, in spite https is enable in the Pyload configuration.I tried different ports without success. Shouldn't it be two ports, one for http and another one to https?
2.- Flashgot doesn't send the links to Pyload. Redirected port 9666 to nas and selected jdownloader as downloader, as said, but the download always starts by the PC jdownloader.

Are you using an autostart script? Maybe its restarting pyLoad when its killed, so your NAS cant shutdown.

1. The builtin server has no https, use stunnel to forward the webinterface port.
2. You cant forward the port and run an application listening on it, you have to disable Jdownloaders ClickAndLoad

Hi RaNaN:

Yes, I was running an autostart script called by qpkg.conf. I thought this could be problem, and changed the way it was called. Now, called by optware.sh, my NAS shutdown OK in 2 min, aprox.

1.- No idea about stunnel. I'll try. Anyway, it's confusing that the config webpage offers the ssl configuration, including the key and cert files.

2.- Uninstalled Jdownloader clickAndLoad. FlashGot set to Jdownloader. PC 9666 port forwarded to NAS. Opened the 9666 port and forwarded to NAS in the router virtual server. But no success. Pyload doesn't catch the download link.

Regards.

Hi:

1.- Not ssl yet. I don't know how to install stunnel.

2.- Works now. I did nothing new but rebooting NAS and PC. One of these reboots managed it!

Hi, I have this problem with pyLoad.
I can download succesfluly from fileserve 3 files together, but once they finish the new files remains in "starting" phase and does not start the download. The only fix I've found so far is to kill pyLoad process and start it again with this command:
Code: Select all
screen -dmS python /opt/pyload/pyLoadCore.py

The error I receive is:
23.11.2010 09:08:56 INFO Download starts: http://www.fileserve.com/file/tcXXqbw/blabla.rarr
23.11.2010 09:09:57 WARNING Couldn't connect to host waiting 1 minute and retry.
Do you know how to fix it?

Hi:

Pyload was working and autostarting perfectly till today. Today, it only works every time I Install pyload. But after rebooting the NAS, it doesn't work. No autostart and I can't manually start.

Now, I get:
Code: Select all
[/opt/pyload] # python pyLoadCore.py
too many values to unpack
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "pyLoadCore.py", line 804, in <module>

Any idea?

It's driving me nuts!

pyLoad 0.4.3
new Version is available, see changelog here: http://pyload.org/changelog

@Eduardo:
You messed up your permissions, please make sure pyLoad has write access to the config folder and folders you specified.

Hi RaNaN:

Finally, I found the problem. It was a configuration problem. I tried that the downloaded files owner wasn't Admin, but my Windows User. The problem was to change the bool changer user to True. This way, Pyload doesn't start.

Now, my pyload.conf set:
Code: Select all
permission - "Permissions":
str group : "Groupname" = everyone
bool change_dl : "Change Group and User of Downloads" = True
bool change_file : "Change file mode of downloads" = True
str user : "Username" = Eduardo
str file : "Filemode for Downloads" = 0744
bool change_group : "Change group of running process" = True
str folder : "Folder Permission mode" = 0744
bool change_user : "Change user of running process" = False

By the way, 0.4.3 installed and working flawlessly. It's a pity that https isn't supported yet. No idea of how stunnel can be installed, thus.

Regards.

just for reference.
i use a TS-209 Pro II nas.
installing the configuration dir in "/usr/share/pyload" leads to out of space errors, in special mode if the Donwloads directory is not moved elsewhere.
this because /usr/share in this type of nas is a symlink to a directory stored in a separate 64MB only partition.

i also moved the Download directory to the Qdownload network share, so i can easily manage the downloaded file.

mrave, try 'python pyLoadCore.py -d' in the console, to run pyload in debug mode, and report the output here (or in the pyload forum).

mrave, are you using free or premium Fileserve.com? It looks like pyLoad tries to resume download and Fileserve.com refuses the resume (byte ranges) request. Most of one-click hosters support resume only with premium accounts.
