No. Please re-read adnovea's posting:

adnovea wrote:NPKG was developed only for the NMP-1000 and will not be maintained in the future.

Good news will follow, bit require some more time.

Hi marko123,
No, you can not install NPKG on the NMP-1000P.
AdNovea may have newer version for NMP-1000P in the near future.

Hi,

Are there any perspective to get OpenNMP on NMP-1000P ?

Is it possible to get sorce code for NMP-1000P ? it is based on GPL so it should not be any problem...
and then we can start work on it :)

Sure, but good cooking takes time and money...

be patient :D

One of the major issues is the availability of libs for the cpu !

[OpenNMP+] for NMP-1000P

Postby adnovea » Tue Dec 07, 2010 7:37 pm

Dear NMP'ers

OpenNMP+

For OpenNMP+ post, please use viewtopic.php?f=176&t=38400

Some people asked for a OpenNMP version available for the new NMP-1000P.
I have chosen to merge two projects into one : the new OpenNMP+ and the ASAP Store.

Therefore, when installing OpenNMP+ on your NMP-1000P you will also benefit from the ASAP Store.
This application is still under test (pre-Alpha) but your feedback will be appreciated.

OpenNMP+ installs like OpenNMP.
You need an external USB drive and run the install from a Putty console.
Link and informations about the ASAP Store can be found at viewtopic.php?f=121&t=37710
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Hi,

After installation I need to admit this is great software - thanks adnovea

One issue I have noticed : there are problems with removing modules that had been installed.
I have tried many ways to remove it but all witout success :( also afre nmp reboot nothing changed.

Dear Javatizer,

The link is given 4 posts above !

=> It is still for test, so do not use if you have sensitive or not backuped data on your NMP.
viewtopic.php?f=121&t=37710
and click the NMP series link to DDL the OpenNMP+ archive.

OpenNMP+ installs with the ASAP Store.

I installed the latest ASAP Store package to get OpenNMP running.
But I don't really understand how to access it. I see in ASAP store that it is installed - but nothing else. How do I use it? There is no new entry in the NMP's menu, there is no link to an own webpage on the NMP... (I want to get the VLC plugin running e.g.)

Unless you have planned to compile VLC for the NMP there is no way to install VLC today.

ASAP:
Click the ASAP Store icon in the Menu, enter the Store with the account admin/admin,
Select the applications available from the Store (1st tab) to be installed on the NMP and click INSTALL.
When the ASAP Store is displayed, there is a short help (4th tab) and a PDF file (click the icon on the top-left corner).

I have split the thread between OpenNMP and OpenNMP+ to avoid confusion
