Status: Waiting on TS-412

Postby Strunov » Mon Mar 14, 2011 3:46 pm

Hi all,

I have a problem with my TS-412. When I add bittorrent tasks the status is changed to waiting, and I can not get it to download no matter what I do.

I have the latest firmware and Qget version.

Please advise.

Since there is no response on this issue. I desided to install Transmission instead. It have better options, and there are tons of addons to use :)

OK, it was a bad setting I had on the TS-412.
In network settings I had set the incorrect Gateway IP address... Doh!
Working well now.

Guys you inspired me, such a silly thing I missed - Under System Admin - Network I was using Ethernet adaptor 2 - but DEFAULT GATEWAY was set to Ethernet Adaptor 1 (which was not active) - therefore my NAS had no internet connection at all

come on QNAP change this default depending on the active NIC and also a good idea to write to the system log if the Download station or Anti Virus server can not connect :D

Looks like a nice idea - but brings a lot of issues. What-if a perfectly configured NAS with two interfaces does start-up say with the internet facing switch (or router) down does boot up? Should the NAS automatically reconfigure the defautl gateway to the other interface (assuming there is one configured at all) - regardless if there is no way to the Internet for example?
