Thx for the reply.

The requested URL /downloads/x09v113/U_TS-109_20071101-1.1.3.zip was not found on this server.

Guess its too old to host anymore :(

I really need the 1.1.3 firmware, everything works with that one.

I'm trying to download the TS-509 Pro Firmware v2.0.3 Build 1016, but the link appears to be down. Are these older firmwares still available?

i had to delete some old versions to free up space on the server.

i suggest you ask qnap directly via the online support form or msn/skype (http://www.qnap.com/onlinesupport.aspx). maybe they can send it to you.

just curious: why you need such a very old version?

It's what I had been running on my 509 Pro for the last 3 years without a single issue. After upgrading to the latest firmware I have having some issues that it appears the 3.x firmware is causing. Mainly with having an apostrophe in a share name. I can't remove the apostrophe without breaking my xbmc, songbird, lightroom databases. I'm also unable to now setup a new remote replication job to backup that share as it contains an "illegal" character.

This was all working in the 2.x firmware.

As long as not using the admin Web UI to adminstrate the replication settings, the 'illegal' ' can be edited (i.e. using vi) into the replication settings. 8) Not nice of course...

I called support today and they didn't mention that.

I'm going to try and first move everything off the NAS to a local drive so that the databases from the share are functional on the local drive. If that works then I should be able to edit the share name and move back. If not, I'll downgrade if I can find the old firmware. Support couldn't find a copy but said they would pass the request on to R&D to see if they have a copy.
