mount.nfs connection time out

mount.nfs connection time out

Hi all,

is there anyone here have got "mount.nfs connection time out" error when you accessed QNAP NFS share from Linux ( SUSE Linux). Please any hint to solve this issue.

Force nfsv3 on mount.

Dear schumaku,

Thanks for your quick reply, I`ll give it a shoot :D, is there a way to chek NFS version of the NAS ?, looks like there is no command to check NFS version, nfsstat and "rpcinfo -p" don`t work. Any ideas ?

This check would unveil something wrong ... because of QNAP has a partially implemented NFSv4 on board, but v4 is not enabled. The check does not see this difference, and therefore nfsv4-capable mount applications are mislead, too.
