Multimedia Station to File Station

It would be great if the Multimedia station could be converted to a All in One File Station
We could then upload photos and different types of Document Formats
The users then have a one stop shop to download generic files like templates etc.
The file download fuctionality of the applications or lack there of needs improvement.
It would be easier to upload files to a File Station for internet access than having to develop a Web Site.
