QNAP Website

Any reason why the site is only accessible in chinese? Can't see a way to change display to English.

All google links are dead since shortly after the website revamp.

Looks ok from here - there's a little language selector at the top right of the page, did you try changing it?

Why don't you use the "search" function on the QNAP website to find what you want. It's right there in the screenshot I posted. You didn't say what you googled, in any event.

You try searching for something then; try "iscsi".

Tell me if it works for you.

In fact the whole site has often been timing out for me this morning, returning me to the homepage.

As the old site structure was taken off-line in favor of the new site this friday, old links will probably never work any more. Unfortunately also not everything is working on the new site yet.

The first link I think was a specific new feature highlighted in the marketing material for the 3.5 firmware. As that firmware have been replaced by 3.6, I doubt those specific pages are to be found on the new server. This is however the documentation covering the feature (I think) it is that you want to know more about.

The second link the the Qnap compatibility list, that is now found here.

The third link would now be found here instead.

No, RAID has never ever been a replacement for backups. Without backups you will eventually lose data!

Pitty - this is what so-called SEF (search-engine-friendly) URL are for.

How easy things would be....
