The laser printer OKI b410d doesn´t work with the TS-412 NAS. The printer is detected but it just won´t print. I´m using Windows 7 (64bit) and NAS firmware 3.6.0 Build 0210T.

Epson Stylus Photo R2400 - Mac Lion Bad, Win7 x64 Good

Postby GuyR » Mon Mar 19, 2012 4:48 am

Printer: Epson Stylus Photo R2400 (USB connection);
NAS: TS-459 Pro II (Firmware - 3.6.1 build 0302);
Client: MacBook Pro (OS X Lion – 10.7.3);

I can install the printer via the methods listed in the manual, for 10.6 and 10.5. All options are available other than ‘Supply Levels’. When I then send a file to the printer the error “unable to connect to printer” is shown in the printer queue and it then sets the printer to ‘Paused’. My user is logged into NAS (not Guest) and Bonjour is enabled on NAS via Admin console.

No issues when plugged in directly to MBP or via Apple Extreme (5th Gen) which I am going to have to go back to using.
Note – Works fine when printing through NAS from Dell XPS Studio 9000 with Windows 7 x64.

If anyone has a work around or solution I’d be grateful !

HI,
HP LaserJet P2055D (TS-259 Pro +)
Once installed (network printer) and installed drivers, works fine for a day.
Next day the printer shows "offline". No way to resume the status. Seems like the back USB panel goes in a sort of standyby mode....
Sold and purchased the network version, HP LaserJet P2055DN (spent time is bigger than new purchase effort).

Regards,
Fabio

Cannon IP 4000 will not work for an Imac off of a QNAP 212.

Works fine for windows. The mac will do a weird looking test page and then does nothing after that.

QNAPRei wrote:Hi all,

QNAP's now collecting the info of USB printers that are popular among end users yet don't work with our NAS series in order to improve our products' compatibility. Please kindly report your printer models by replying this thread. Thank you very much!

Best regards,

Well the guten print worked for a day and then the ip 4000 on the qnap stopped serving. Guess the post that started this thread was a little bit of lip service as we never see support in this thread at all.
