Unattended copy from eSATA to NAS

Postby matteusz88 » Thu May 31, 2012 11:08 pm

Apologies if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find anything.

Just received my TS-412 - Loving it!

I've got about 3TB of data on an external drive that I eventually want on the QNAP - can I copy it over using Web File Manager? - The only reason I ask is that I tired and the process seemed to stop once I closed my browser window and shut down my iMac

Any other suggestions for copying such a large amount without having to leave my machine on, or can't it be down?

Thanks :)

Yes.
No, RAID has never ever been a replacement for backups. Without backups you will eventually lose data!
