[MySQL/phpMyAdmin]

Postby mh_forum » Thu Jun 07, 2012 12:51 am

Hi,

I have a problem and need your help. I had to change the my.cnf (added skip-name-resolve). I did it with WinSCP. After a restart of MySQL I can't access phpMyAdmin - error #1045. But MySQL itself runs properly. When I delete the new line in the my.cnf, I am able to login normally in phpMyAdmin.
Can anyone tell why this happens and how I can fix this?
I have a TS439 Pro II + with firmware 3.6.1 build 0302T.
Thanks for your help!

Mike

Clearing the cache does not help. Any other ideas?

Have you enabled TCP/IP networking? (unlikely but worth checking) It could be failing on connecting via Unix domain sockets with that option added to your my.conf.
