FW 3.7.1 no more major file system bug?

Postby 2000wolf » Sun Jun 17, 2012 6:53 pm

Hi there,

After all complaints regarding that Major File System Bug here:
viewtopic.php?f=25&t=51741&p=268326&hilit=major#p268326

... I' m quite astonished that no one has commented QNAP's statement:
viewtopic.php?f=142&t=60259

"...
[Major Bug Fixes]
- ...
- Fixed the slow write speed when the system would take a long time to find free blocks with large amount of data stored on the NAS
- ... "

Do no comments / no new complaints mean that this issue has been actually solved?

The thread mentioned is locked so any comments would have to happen elsewhere.
No, RAID has never ever been a replacement for backups. Without backups you will eventually lose data!
