I'm curious about your setup. I see that you are playing with
Internet Connection Sharing which strikes me as very inefficient solution for you. I would have expected you to attempt a
Wireless Bridge arrangement, if indeed the only available Internet connection for your network segment is via WiFi.
Wireless Bridge:
A Wireless Bridge arrangement would let you connect devices within "your network" by wired connections at the Bridge, which would maximize the speed of your equipment within your network segment. You could even add a Wireless Access Point to provide WiFi from your equipement to the AP, which is in turn "wired" to your bridge. As long as the Wireless Bridge, and the Wireless AP are using different WiFi channels this would provide the best possible throughput on your entire segment. Obviously the Bridge connection to the real internet connection would be a bottleneck, but performance between equipment within your "bridged" segment would still fast, including the access between your PC and your NAS.

If you existing
Internet Connection Sharing is working for you, then perhaps you'd prefer to leave it well enough alone, but if you are looking for possibilities for your future network expansion within your network segment, a
Wireless Bridge arrangement may be a better choice for you. While I admit that a
Wireless Bridge would involve spending money for additional hardware, I believe you would find the extra functionality would make the investment worth the trouble.
There is no need to buy expensive WiFi Bridges, WiFi Range Extenders, or WiFi Access Points. Many consumer-grade routers can be configured, or flashed with 3rd Party Router firmware like OpenWRT, Tomato, or DD-WRT to provide this functionality. If you can find reasonable prices on compatible equipment this might be a solution for you in the future.
