OpenVPN - Can I bypass for local traffic?

Postby jethro10 » Tue Jul 10, 2012 4:35 pm

Hi,

title basically says it all. I'm on the 3.7.1 F/W testing out the built in VPN.
It worked first time! but I notice ALL traffic goes through the tunnel.

Can OpenVPN be setup so when tunneling to work from home, if I want to "browse" the net while connected to work via the tunnel, locla traffic wont get sent through the works connection.

Thanks
Jeff

OpenVPN ... Advanced Options .... untick Redirect gateway. Like that, only the VPN subnet goes into the VPN, any other traffic is handled locally.
