EyeFi Server

Postby zipler » Sun Jan 16, 2011 2:57 pm

EyeFi makes Wireless SD cards for cameras, and it would be great to see the EyeFiServer built into a QPKG, or natevly into the QNAP. Having the ability to store images directly to the QNAP wirelessly without using a computer would be awesome.

Any chance there is someone out there that knows how to Build QPKG's and has a camera? ;)

There is an unofficial python based EyeFi server, which will run on linux. It would be nice to see this rolled up into QPKG ideally enhanced with a web interface for the settings.

I agree!!! This would be a great option to add to the QNap feature set. We live in a mobile world and we need to continue to enhance our offerings to support it.
