well it will never work! The vlc browser plugin is years old and not maintained anymore. They never had proper support for OS X, so it will never come unless qnap switches to another player or is fixing the plugin. The source code is available.

But works with the TV Station?!?

I hasn't asked you to run tvheadend - just replied to your request for TV Station Mac client.

Regards,
-Kurt.

PS. Of course, TV Station is based on tvheadend.

Sorry? The is no need for an add-on. I'm running a bunch of XBMC 11 and 12 Beta here on ATV, Windows, Linux, and Android - adding a htsp://..../ source works in the standard XBMC code.

XBMC is a pretty complex platform - this stats from the RSS news information, to the regular check of plugins with update or suggestions to disable known broken ones for example. Further on, it can pick-up media information data like thumbs, posters, descriptions. For XBMC - brought in here as an alternate player here only - please get yourself informed on sites dedicated to XBMC.
