lsusb fails

Post by Samus »

When I try to run lsusb, I get the following error:

Code: Select all

Error, cannot open USBIDS File "${datarootdir}/usb.ids", No such file or directory
Obviously the token "${datarootdir}" needs to be replaced with the correct path (which I believe is /usr/local/share), but how do I get that to happen? I tried setting an environment variable (env datarootdir=/usr/local/share) but that didn't work.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Cheers,
Samus

Try run "update-usbids.sh"
