Re: Qfinder install failed on Linux Mint 21.1
Open a ticket with QNAP to get this looked into ..
or
Why would you need Qfinder in the first place? Finding the QNAP should be trivial

Re: Qfinder install failed on Linux Mint 21.1
The NAS would do so via GUI anyways (you can even setup notifications on the NAS to have it send you emails for available updates)

Re: Qfinder install failed on Linux Mint 21.1
So it does. I just had to setup the email smtp. I then found the notifications settings and they were already selected for firmware. Qfinder really is not needed.
Thanks,

Re: Qfinder install failed on Linux Mint 21.1
Hallo, I have the same problem, telling the minimum system requirement is Ubuntu 18.04... and Mint 21.1 is Ubuntu 22.xx !!

I tried to install other Qnap utilitiy-packages without problems. Qfinder is useful to "discover" NAS-IP-ADDRESS in case you don't remember.
Thanks for reply

Re: Qfinder install failed on Linux Mint 21.1
And have you contacted QNAP support?
Btw, official requirements do not say "minimum system requirement is Ubuntu 18.04", it only says "Supported OS: Ubuntu 18.04".
https://www.qnap.com/en/utilities/essentials
Supported OS: Windows 8 (or later versions), Windows Server 2016 (or later versions), macOS 10.14 (or later versions), Ubuntu 18.04.

Re: Qfinder install failed on Linux Mint 21.1
Hallo, thanks for answering.
" And have you contacted QNAP support? " --> how to do this ?
BTW: if you read the failure text it says "Your operating system version is not supported.\nMinimum system requirements: 18.04"
For me it means that FROM 18.04 everything is fine !
Cheers
