Qsync login error

Post by Bosko »

Hello I have TS-431K 4.5.4.2280 (20230112), cloud work fine, users and passwords are correct. I install Qsync on 3 computers. When adding NAS I go to search NAS via QID, login and finding my NAS then I wrote Username and password and get error "your login credentials are incorrect or your account is no longer valid". The usernam and pasword work for login. They have acces for qsync... Where is te problem? I have some others Qnaps and work fine....

Cloud works fine?

I hope your NAS is not exposed to WAN... if so, please disable that asap !

If you can reach your NAS from outside of your LAN, without a local VPN server or some sort of tunnelling service, then it is exposed (portforwards)

Well as you do not grasp what I am trying to warn you of here .. it might not be a problem now, it can become one in no time (all your files encrypted with ransomware)
