The thread you are referring is 15 years old!
Changing DNS does not affect a connect to NAS in an way. If DNS is set wrong, you many will loose access to internet (not really loosing "access", but names like google.com will not resolved any longer).
Which server/pool are you using for NTP?
When connecting to CLI (by using SSH), is a "ping" to the desired server/pool successfull?

Yes, i use putty and connect SSH and as well I can ping the NTP - 217.147.223.78 return well.

So means network ok. right?

Did you ping the IP 217.147.223.78 or the "pool.ntp.org"?
The IP is useless, pinging the pool should usually return different IPs each time.

And yes, if ping (to pool) resolves and answers, network is ok.
Any other device in your network which is able to use NTP? Whats about your router? Usually routers support also time sync by NTP.
For testing, you can set the router for sync with pool.ntp.org and at NAS set the NTP address to the routers LAN IP.
Is time then synchronized?
Also, is pool.ntp.org the nearest to your locality?

I can ping "2.europe.pool.ntp.org" as well as 217.147.223.78 or the "pool.ntp.org"

I use on my router this "2.europe.pool.ntp.org"

I changed my NAS "2.europe.pool.ntp.org" also but not working either

I changed router for sync with pool.ntp.org thats working on router.

Dont know is is pool.ntp.org the nearest

It has to be something in the firmware or other services of NAS as the rest of my network is working well

Please avoid creating multiple threads for same issue!
Still unanswered, what will happen if you set your router IP as timeserver in NAS?
If this wont work either, try a 3s reset at NAS.
A 3s reset resets network and admin password to default.
If after a 3s reset NTP doesnt work, its may be an issue in QTS. Which build of v4.2.6 is running?

Have you at least read the FAQ? The 3sec reset DOES NOT delete data.
But you have should have backups of your data anyway. So there should not be a problem.
