Good morning to all!
OK, I am trying to setup my NAS to serve as backup location for Acronis and wasn't successful, something isn't right, so I disabled 2FA. Now when I login, I get a window prompting me to setup 2FA for my user account, if I choose Exit, it kicks me back to the login page. If I choose continue, then it lets me setup 2FA for my user account again and I get access to the desktop.
I'm thinking there must be a setting somewhere that I forgot about, don't know about or this is some type of bug?????
Also, can anyone point me to a guide to set up my QNAP to be able to be used by Acronis as a NAS destination...

Open a ticket with QNAP complaining about stuck 2FA setup.
Just remove 2FA and make sure to never ever expose your NAS online

Thanks for the blazing fast response!
Ok, so it's not a setting or anything on my end that I need to look for? You refer to opening a ticket throught the service portal?
And I really don't have any clue what it means to NOT expose my NAS online... for the moment I only use it locally

Yes a ticket to QNAP support via the support dashboard
Exposing means accessing it from WAN by forwarding ports to it.
See all the malware threads what can happen to people that do this.
