Minimum Apps required

Post by congo »

Hi
My QNAP TS-431K NAS came installed with 13 apps (HBS, Helpdesk, License, Malware, Multimedia, Network & Virtual, Notification, Qboost, Qsync, QTS SSL, QuLog, Resource, SSD Profiling).
I am using my NAS only to run Plex, however the NAS only has 1GB RAM.
Which applications can safety be uninstalled to free up memory for Plex?
Can these apps be disable from startup? If so, how can I do this?

Thank you.

Any app that allows it, can be uninstalled or at least disabled

In addition to what @dolbyman said, if you decide in the future to use any app that has been removed you can simply re installed again. So that isn't an issue.
