Weird Issue With TS419PII

Post by Stefoudemon »

Hello Everyone,

I've a strange problem at this moment with my TS 419 PII.
i have it for 3 years and no problem with it.

2 days ago my nas rebooted with no reason and since then is detected as a HS 210 II.

i did not make any firmware update nor changes to the configuration. It did it by itself.

I could manage to access the web interface but as the HS 210 is a 2 bay nas and the 419 P2 is a 4 bay, my raid is not recognized.

My Nas was on the 4.3.3.0.174 Firmware.

has anyone an idea on how to revert to it's original firmware without destroying my data ?

Thank you.

open a ticket with QNAP, I can't find the thread but someone reported a similar issue on 4.3.3 not to long ago.

The Qnap support did a great job and reinstalled the right firmware on my nas, i recovered all my data's.

so if you are facing the same issue, submit a ticket and they will help you.

thanks to them.
