Hi. I have an old TS-859 Pro+ and I am adding a new TS-651B to my network and I wanted to run by the setup and see if anyone had any suggestions.
I was basically going to put Eth0 for each on the internal network, and then connect to two boxes on Eth1 with a different subnet (/30) with no default gateway and jumbo frames enabled. I am assuming mdi/mdix so I am just using a regular cat 6a cable.
Since according to the documentation the TS-859 Pro+ is so old, I cannot virtually combine the shares, so I was thinking of adding the TS-859 Pro+ shares as NFS mounts to the new TS-651B and that way users can just go to the new 651B for all shares. I think I will need to do the NFS mounting in the shell, correct? and correct fstab so it persists? or is rc.local better?
Does anyone see anything wrong with this? a better way of setup?
Thanks!

do you mean TS-653B instead of 651B?
