Disconnecting

Post by alvin8866 »

Hi,

I recently update my firmware(around end of October 2017), and my device (TS-212E) starts disconnecting.

After I updated to the newest firmware, I was not able to connect to my device while all lights show normal.
Then I manually re-boot my device, I was able to connect to my device for a while (1-2 hours). After that, I cannot connect to my device.
Every time I manually re-boot my device, something happens.

Does anyone know what is going on? How can I fix it?

seems like the same issue a lot of old kirkwood users have, no solution so far (lots of threads about it)

going back to 4.2.x seems to help

download the 4.2.x firmware from the qnap website and manually update(downgrade) it
