I have recently migrated (re-use existing disk from old NAS) to a new NAS.
TS-210 -> TS-231-P2
The migration seemed to go OK. I have retained all of my existing data (phew) but I did have to manually update the firmware on the new NAS.
It is running Version 4.3.3.0361 (2017/11/01)
However, for many of the standard QNAP apps I am finding that they will not install.
The all fail with the same message stating that they will only run on Version 4.3.0 or later (which I am on)
For Example: -
Type Date Time Users Source IP Computer name Content
Error 2017/11/11 20:44:18 System 127.0.0.1 localhost [App Center] Download Station 5.0.69 can only run on firmware version 4.3.0 or newer.
I get the same for Music and Photo station.
I suspect this must be because these apps were installed already but somehow they have not been cleanly removed.

you actually want to start from scratch .. you missing out on features with migrating to legacy volumes
for the rest ...repply the firmware (manualy ... search for the guide)...and if that does help,contact qnap for assistance
