QFinder PRO cannot connect to resetted device after Fixed IP change

Post by digitalgerry »

Hi all
I am about to loose the will to live with my TS-453A.
I have had various problems so decided to factory reset and format everything. I then connected the NAS to my MAC and configured it, including the change to IP. BUT i keep getting the message
Cannot connect to device. Please check if the device and your computer are on the same subnet.
Click 'OK' to open the web browser and try to connect to device, or click 'Cancel' to return.
I also checked by connected devices it is now showing in them yet the device has the correct IP range
Help....

Did you ever solve this, I have the same problem. I have been able to map the network drives but cannot access via Qfinder nor can the TV's connect with the NAS

any funny business with mesh wifi going on ? Those sometimes do separate subnets that do not support broadcast across them (that's how Qfinder works)
