- My wife and I are the ONLY two (2) users:
I have 3-PC’s and she has 2-PC’s.
The TS-451's will be confined to our LAN.
USERS:
1) Admin
2) MRB (With Full Privileges)
3) RGB (With Full Privileges)
NOTE: Since we have equal privileges, I'm unsure whether an Admin plus ONLY one (1) USER account was sufficient/satisfactory? That is, in our case, whether there was a need for 2-Users (plus an Admin)?
FAMILY SHARE FOLDER NAMES:
1) Asus
2) HP
3) Surface
4) Dell
5) HTPC
MULTIMEDIA SHARE FOLDER NAMES:
1) Asus
2) HP
3) Surface
4) Dell
5) HTPC
Have I done:
1) It Confusingly
2) Too Much?
3) Too Little?
As a default, and when it comes to fruition (it doesn't always), KISS is my method of choice!
I’m asking, because I’m getting ready to initiate Qsync. And want to make sure my layout/setup is going to comply with what QSYNC “expects”. I want to make things the LEAST difficult &/or confusing to manage.
Knowing very little about a NAS and EVEN less about Qsync (with the exception of how to spell it ), I thought I should at least get my User/Share/Folders configurations properly allocated, so as to prevent confusion and grief (now or down the road). Hence, your help would be greatly appreciated!
