Hello,
About a year ago I've purchased my nas and Ive been using it via Nas>router>PC in 1gbe speeds.
I recently purchased the qnap 10gbe network card and am trying to connect to it.
I've done some digging and have changed the QNAP to 10.10.10.1 and subnet 255.255.255.0
Then I've changed my 10gbe network card to 10.10.10.2 subnet 255.255.255.0
Then when I try to //10.10.10.1 it 100% fails.
There is no point in time where it asks me for a log in.
How can I go about finding a solution to this?
It shows in my qnap status as disconnected. (adapter 1)
TVS-672XT cannot change to 10 gbe speed

Re: TVS-672XT cannot change to 10 gbe speed
My Nas is connected to my router, my computer is connected to my router, and I have network folder via PC>router>nas. and i currently have access at 1gbe
What I want to do is connect to the 10 gbe port on my nas device to my 10 gbe network card on my PC directly.
That is all the components.

I currently have it set up like this, and it is connected via 10 gbe port on nas > 10 gbe port on my pc

Re: TVS-672XT cannot change to 10 gbe speed
so put the 10GbE devices in a sepperate subnet
e.g.
NAS 192 168.10.10
PC 192.168.10.20
the other NAS lan with the default gateway (on the switch in the main one..e.g. 192.168.0.0/24)
mount the 10GbE shares via ip and not nasname
e.g.
