TS-453A ethernet network inaccessible

Post by Marcraft »

Hello

I was working in "virtualization station3" with a Centos 7 virtual machine. I have two ethernet ports connected between the NAS and my local router, in the "Network & Virtual Switch" I have-
  • The Virtual switch 1 connected to the network adapter1 (local connection)
  • The virtual switch 2 connected to the network adapter 2 (connection for virtual machines)
After several unsuccessful attempts to have internet in Centos virtual machine through Virtual switch 2, I tried to add the Virtual Switch2 to my network adapter1, the NAS network was restarted and from this, the ping responds as inaccessible, I can't enter by http, ssh, qnapcloud, etc.

Before configuration:
  • Network adapter1 IP: 192.168.0.100 (virtual switch 1 same ip)
  • Network adapter2 IP: 192.168.0.50 (virtual switch 2 same ip)
After configuration:
  • IP adapter1: No http, ssh, myqnapcloud, etc ping response inaccessible, 0 pacakage lost
  • IP adapter2: No http, ssh, myqnapcloud, etc ping all pacakage lost
(see attachment ping inaccesible)
  • My model TS-453A does not have a quickaccess port
  • Qfinderpro finds the QNAP with the IP 192.168.0.50 in both adapters (currently no ping), I access in the configuration and the adapter 1 and 2 have the same configuration, with wrong gateway, my real gateway is 192.168.0.1, I tried change this, but after the confirmation, I access in configuration againg and the wrong configuration continuos the same
(see attachment wring gateway)
  • I tried pressing the reset button for 3 seconds but after this nothing happens, everything continues the same (probably this option was not active in the qnap)
I don't want to lose my data inside the qnap, I already restarted it several times, I tried to connect 1 ethernet port, testing the 4 ports and searching for it by qfinderpro via DHCP but I was not successful either, I just don't know what what can I do

Does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks

Can you connect up a monitor/KB and get to a console interface to reset the virtual network switch?

https://www.qnap.com/en/how-to/knowledg ... mmand-line

I had a situation where the TS-453A stopped responding on all Ethernet interfaces. Solution was to depower, unplug power, press start button too discharge any standby power, plug in power, and power backup.
