[SOLVED] HELP: I cannot access

Post by lianne »

Hi guys, I have a big problem. I am not able to access to my TS-119PII anymore. The web interface does not work (no reply), Qfinder finds the NAS but I cannot login through it (error message, something like "no reply from the server". If I try to connect through SSH, I am able to login but than everything is so slow that also the ps command get stuck printing its output. QFinder allows only to restart or shutdown. I did a soft reset but I didn't solve (only after a couple of resets the admin password changed to the default value). I also rebooted without the disk and nothing different happened. I am a bit desperate with any idea of what I can do.
Is there someone that can suggest anything to try?
Thanks a lot.

EDIT: firmware QTS 4.3.3.1432

change the disk ? .. maybe it's busted

swap the disk and setup the NAS from scratch

I hope to avoid the initialisation...I have a backup of my data but I would like to try other options before giving up... :-(

finally I solved. I went through a firmware recovery and then I had to follow this procedure: viewtopic.php?f=160&t=97480#p436888
