I am looking at the NAS via the file station app and i see 7 folders.
When looking at it via control panel - shared files I see 7 folder.
But there not the same.
When I view the NAS via windows explorer I see only 5.
In windows I see the folders - download - home - multimedia which I did not create.
How can I remove them?
In the qnap control panel I see a folder called homes - how can i delete that one?

Re: Noob Is confused - File structure
those are the default folders..do not mess (do not delete) with them
you use a nas by mounting it's shares to the computers that you want to use..do that and you will be happy (no need to use that webgui filemanager more than just occasionally)
p.s. homes is unique to every user accessing ..home is not (same same for each user)
