TVS-1282 - "A corresponding hard drive tray is required..."

Post by sjtsnix » Wed Jun 12, 2019 10:26 am

My TVS-1282-i7-32G-US arrives tomorrow.

I'm still researching what drives to populate it with.

While looking at the Compatibility list for the TVS-1282, I see the HGST HUS726060ALE610 listed with a 'note' that takes me to a pop up windows stating:

HGST HUS726060ALE610

A corresponding hard drive tray is required as the screw port design of the HDD models has been changed by their manufacturers. Click here for more information.

I click on the Link for "More Information", which takes me to: ... drives-hdd

This page lists nothing having to do with a the TVS-1282 (or... TVS-x82).

Can someone with a TVS-1282 verify that I don't need "new drive trays for high-capacity hard disk drives" if I were to select one of the > 5Gb drives from the Compatibility list?

thank you,
