are these units Bare (no Drives)

Are they compatible with WD40EFRX 4TB Drives

Will they support NVME's ?

Will they run QuTS out of the box, or isd there a cost fee to register and use the QuTS software?

Yes they are NAS only (no drives)

Doubt a little Celeron unit will get QuTS, it will (probably) be a QTS only unit, firmware page is here
