replace TS-431P to faster QNAP, but Read existing Drives

Post by jimchest »

Been since 2017 since I have posted ont this board, which in turn is a Testament to how relable my QNAP TS-431 is. What I would like to do is upgrade to a faster 4 bay QNAP that is a little faster and maybe has more features. I remember there was a compatability doc on doing this back in 2019, but all my searches on the website come up with nothing.

If anyone know what qnap servers I could purchase that could read my data that was created with my TS-431, I would appreciate it.
thanks

Thank you QNAP for making such a rocksolid product.

Hmm... right now my TS-431p is synchronizing, and tomorrow it will be back in action (as a backup/secondary storage to the new NAS).
