I think I posed this question in the wrong forum as it doesn't seem to be drawing any answers.
The short version is I planned to use a pair of 1TB Seagate 525s in a new TVS-h874 as a RAID1 system volume, but heard these SSDs can run hot. This might lead to throttling, so I figured I'd ask for thoughts and recommendations here. I know this NAS ships with a pair of heat sinks, and it may be a non-issue with the active cooling.
