Where did you read the TX-x77 were getting the upgraded cpu's?

All I could find was reference to the x rackmounted series getting an upgrade

I never tried a TS-877, but I have installed tons of the TVS-872XT model, and that is one fantastic QNAP product. Tons of features, like Thunderbolt 3, 10G ports, expandability, really fast. And if its cheaper that the TS-877, while I never tried an 877 - well, you are not going to go wrong with the TVS-872XT. It's a great product.

Quite some months back there was YouTube videos of QNAP on a show, and they had some units on displayed and showed it had them.

The reason given "to welcome the release of QTS 4.4.1 " - come on Mr Qnap!

I personally don't mind if that is the reason although and us would be nice..

Thanks -That answer if I wish to remove the Standard Ram

Now all I would like to know if anyone has "added" 2x8 ( kingston or Crucial or Corsair ) to the standard 2x8 that come with the TS-1277 1700

I suspect the new 2x8 must be 2400mhz like the standard Ram.
