QUTS Hero support TVS-672N
Does the TVS-672N support Quts Hero? I’m about to purchase one but wanted to know before I purchased. Thank you

Nope, It's been extensively discussed in other threads. It requires a license which can't be bought. Not sure if it ever will.

Re: QUTS Hero support TVS-672N
At this moment, that is correct. They are generally Xeon based platforms with ECC memory support and horribly overpriced. There has been a plan to offer QuTS hero to other higher end platforms like the x72s and actually the firmware has even been published but it doesn't allow anyone to try it due to the lack of a license key. I really like(ed) the x72 platform until the large amount of report of sudden motherboard deaths to which QNAP has not responded at all and made people discover how horribly impractical their warranty service is and let alone people who have out of warranty units and are SOL.itpromike@gmail.com wrote: ↑Wed May 26, 2021 9:00 pmSo the only ones that run QUTS hero the “Quts Hero Editions” and that’s it?

Updating the 672n to QUTS version stops and fails at 42%.

Was the NAS completly erased first..?
I dont think you get go from QTS to QuTS with a simple update (hence it failed)
