Hello,
I have a TS-853 pro, an 8 bay desktop NAS.
I want to migrate to a short depth rackmount solution, my rack can only accommodate a 12 inch form factor.
Unfortunately, QNAP do not manufacture a 2U short depth rack mount solution.
So my question is, is it possible to 'daisy chain' 2 x TS451DeU so that I get a combined 8 bays.
I imagine that given my current raid 6 configuration, it won't be possible to just swap the disks in to the 2 separate enclosures?
Thanks,
Inso.
Daisy chain 2 x TS451 DeU?

No to both accounts...Only thing you could do would be Regular Storage one one device and connect the other via VJBOD
Depending what you want to do with you NAS, get just one and buy bigger disks (for equal storage)
