Hi,
I am planning a new Veeam backup projet.
I was looking at your TL-R1220Sep-RP product.
My question is:
HP Server DL180 G10 - Wndows SRV 2019
If I connect the enclosure via a Broadcom SAS 9380-8i8e would I be able to configure a RAID10 array?
Do I need other software or the Broadcom controller is enought?
Thk you

Re: TL-R1220Sep-RP with RAID controller
This is not a complete answer to your question. And the short version of my answer is if you are running Windows on your HP server, it might be easier to do software RAID.
But from our website.
"A Windows® server with a SAS hardware RAID card can be connected to multiple TL SAS JBODs to provide the server with high-capacity storage space."
https://www.qnap.com/en-us/product/tl-r1220sep-rp/pc
We don't have a compatibility list for hardware RAID cards. But I expect a hardware RAID card like this has a decent chance of working. And if it does not work, you could return it.

On windows, you can also use software RAID. And that might be easier.
