I want to upgrade my old system,a TS-231P (2 HDD) to a TS-431KX-2G mainly for the SFP+ and also the 4 HDD.
Is the admin web interface the same ? Does it offer the same capabilities as the previous one ? (SMB, ISCSI, ect...)
Will it work with those cards: TP-Link PCIe 10 Gigabit TX401 or a ASUS XG-C100F ?
Also, about the 2 other LAN port, is there a 2,5Gbps or only 2 x 1Gbps ? The specs page does not says about it.
TS-231P upgrade to TS-431KX-2G ?

Re: TS-231P upgrade to TS-431KX-2G ?
Migration route works
https://www.qnap.com/en/nas-migration?o ... n=ts-431kx
Interface will be 99% the same, capabilities too
The 431KX does not PCIE expansion bays .. so no card will fit in.
The other two NIC's are 1GbE
All info from here
