How to install Bacula backup
There doesn't appear to be a Bacula backup package for Qnap as there is for variety of linux distros so I wondered if there is a way to natively compile from source? That's what I do for Debian but that presupposes there is a native toolchain. Not sure if there is one for Qnap. I'd don't want to cross compile.

Re: How to install Bacula backup
Well yes but the answers are somewhat ambiguous. It does appear that old versions of bacula were available through ipkg. The latest reference I could find was to v7x in 2012 but that has long since been superceded by v11. I did not find any answer in the forum about whether there is a native toolchain to compile a more recent version. Perhaps someone who has done this might be able to advise.

I saw that. This is bacula v9.0.6 from 2018 so it looks like ipkg is not keeping up with developments. Is ipkg the only way to install apps?
