Hi
I just installed VyprVPN 0.9.0 on my TS-559 Pro II (4.2.2(20160823)) NAS. I used the QNAP Store on my NAS to install the application, and it installed without errors, but when I try to open the application (https://192.168.1.170:7515) I get a browser (IE,Chrome,Firefox) error indicating that the page can't be reached/displayed.
Are there some other settings I need to set manually to complete the install?
Take care,
Shayne

Same problem here. It seems that some script have such hard-coded paths in it, that it can't find Python3...
I have no solution... I would raise a ticket at QNap.

Re: VyprVPN 0.9.0
I just got it to work.
Simply, install it manually using these instructions (easy) and it works very well

192.168.0.244:12201 uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because it was signed by the exhibitor. The certificate does not apply to the name 192.168.0.244. Error Code: SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER

Re: VyprVPN 0.9.0
Has anybody had any luck with finding the solution to this?
Have been on the Vypr/GoldenFrog Live Chat and the person there was stumped as well.
They've escalated it and have submitted a ticket with Qnap.

In the interface of your router (or internet box), open 7515 to your NAS ip

Like all the thousands that exist, this port must be open.skypx wrote:So now every bot, black hat and internet baddie can access port 7515? Cool.... good luck.Hurricane-44 wrote:In the interface of your router (or internet box), open 7515 to your NAS ip

Like any web server or application that would use specific ports.
Please verify your firewall to see all exceptions you have.
Security can be managed elsewhere and / or adjusted.
But it's easy to criticize a solution rather than give a concrete one
Surely you have found a way to run your VyprVPN without opening it ?
Oh, for every bot, black hat and internet baddie you can close 443 or 80 too
